More than three decades ago, in the serene and beautiful setting of Bahía de Los Ángeles, a vision began to take shape that would forever change the way this corner of Baja California was lived and experienced.
This vision was born in the mind of Luis Arce Smith , CEO and founder of Grupo Rocavela, a man with a deep love for his homeland and an insatiable desire to share its natural and cultural riches with the world. Luis Arce Smith, with his passion and commitment, has driven a legacy of excellence in the field of tourism, hospitality and services.

Grupo Rocavela positions itself as a constantly growing business consortium. Currently, it operates three key business units: Rocavela Beach Club in the tourism sector, Rocavela Expeditions in the tourism sector, and Rocavela Real Estate in the real estate sector. However, the group does not stop here. We are committed to expanding our operations with new business units that complement and strengthen our current offerings, always aligned with our mission and vision to bring the best of Bahía de Los Ángeles to the world. Through Rocavela Group, we seek to capitalize on the unique fusion between the desert and the sea, and between ancient Cochimí civilizations and current communities. This approach is viewed from a perspective deeply rooted in sustainability, with a legacy vision for future generations. The first step in this journey was the creation of Rocavela Beach Club, a place that quickly became the epicenter of social and recreational life in the bay. Over time, and always guided by the same vision, Grupo Rocavela expanded its horizons, diversifying its operations to include Rocavela Real Estate and Rocavela Expeditions. Each of these business units reflects the group's commitment to excellence, sustainability, and total customer satisfaction.
